1.What is your name? Rhonda Reed
2. Are you a graduate student? If no, what year? i.e. Junior, Senior, etc. Yes and I am excited to be finished by 2020. I hope!
3. Where are you from? I am from Akron, Ohio. I live on the outskirts of the city, in a suburb called Ellet. Akron, Ohio used to be the rubber capital back in the day.
4.Why did you enroll in this class? It is a required course
5.Have you heard of my class and/or teaching methodology? I have not and to be honest, I have viewed the introduction and syllabus multiple times with great frustration. I created a step by step word document to help me get through the assignment without having to watch the how to video for the 4th, 5th or 6th time.
1. What are your initial thoughts? Extremely frustrating. I am an older student and not computer savvy. I am sure there are easier ways of accomplishing what I am trying to do with getting these questions into these boxes, which makes this even more time consuming than it should be.
2. What are your expectations of this course?
Currently, to get through this class without losing my mind.As I work through the first assignment, my frustration is getting a little less.
3. Did you signup for the FHSU Promo free Plectica account? Yes.
4. Did you signup for the Tableau 1 year free student license? The program is saying I have an account but it will not accept any email address I enter to give me my license number. Additional frustration!!
My response to James DeGrechie’s post: I wish I was not so apprehensive about my ability to navigate through all of these programs and creating blogs and was as excited as you seem to be. Maybe it will get better as I work through assignments.

My response to Stephanie Flores’ post: I am glad I am not the only one that had to view the how to video more than once, although I had to view it multiple times. I am an older student and not from the computer literate generation, but I am working on improving my knowledge and abilities to navigate these programs. We shall see how well I progress !??

I used to live in Canton, so I wasn’t that far from you. If you get a chance to get down to Canton, my friend runs the most incredible sandwich shop called Deli Ohio. You should check it out.
To get back on topic, what are you majoring in and what do you hope to do with this degree?
