Where are you from? Grew up in Phillipsburg, Kansas, but now I live in Wichita.
Are you a graduate student? No, this is my last semester for my B.S. in Health Studies.
Why did you enroll in this class? I needed an elective for my degree, and knowing that I want to have a role in Health Care Administration, I figured this would be the right course to take.
Have you heard of my class or teaching methodologies? I have not heard of this style. However, I am very intrigued as I currently teach at Hutchinson Community College, and this would be a great tool to use.
What are your initial thoughts? Slightly confusing, but intrigued.
What are your expectations for this course? No defined expectation, except to give me a background in health care administration that I can take into my career.

What course(s) do you currently teach at Hutch? I am currently teaching Community Health this semester.
I currently teach primarily EMT, but I dabble in paramedic!
I also grew up in Philipsburg! Only the one in Pennsylvania. So what are you wanting to do with your degree? What role in healthcare do you want to fill?
For a second I was like “no way!” I’m currently applying for public/population health jobs on the east coast, as it has been my dream to move there for quite some time. My next step is MHA or MPH, after I take a gap year. Full time work and full time school catches up to you after 5 semesters!
I didn’t know you were from P-burg! The first time at the Rodeo it rained so hard Friday night, they cancelled and we made lots of friends downtown…total Country song lyrics at its finest. LOL I’m up that way now for classes. I hope things are going well in your classes. I think this teaching model would blow the minds of EMS providers…cause we do so well with change! HA
