  1. Hi Jason, your Organizational structure is really nice, i almost did the same thing but probably ended up having more of a rigid vertical hierarchal structure. Yours looks more evenly distributed with several horizontal groups that tend to work as a complementary unit.

  2. I would have to agree with Marc. I think your organizational structure is pretty solid. When I’m looking at it just makes sense. Good work!

  3. Thank you both for your input, I modeled it after the organizational structure of a former employer. I can now with my current employer that our organizational structure is quite bizarre. Working on a crisis stabilization unit, I report directly to the crisis director. As a nurse, I also directly report the the Nursing Director. Often there is quite a bit of conflict between the medical unit and the crisis unit and the nurses get caught in the crossfire.

  4. Hello Jason,

I really liked the layout you used for this assignment. I like the Devil’s Advocate portion that you added. This really is important when looking at the issues at hand because at a managerial level I believe it is important to look at both sides of the conversation to understand the forwards. I too used the matrix system and allowed for the CEO to be at the top with sub divisions broke out. I believe that this is the best structure because it allows for focus on each individual business area, but with an overall reporting structure to keep the business focused in the same direction.
