    1. Before starting this project I took a computational physics course and found that I really enjoyed computer programming. As for the image processing part, Dr. Beck presented her work last year at the K-INBRE symposium and the analysis of the rate got Dr. Rossi’s attention and we both thought that using MATLAB and computer programming could be a good way to fuse my interest in computational physics and assist data analysis for research similar to Dr. Beck’s.

  1. That’s a really cool machine learning problem! Allowing other experts to focus more on disgusting and treating problems and less on calculations to show what’s happening can increase their efficiency a lot.

  2. Very interesting, cutting down analysis time by so much looks like a great development!
