Thank you so much for taking the time to view my research! The semester previous to this research I had a biochemistry lab with Dr. Ayella where we did literature research on LDH and it’s enzymatic activity as well as having a couple labs to study the LDH activity. Then, we had to submit a research proposal on this topic for the class, and Dr. Ayella asked if I would want to take this proposal further and actually test my hypothesis in the lab. I was more than interested in learning more about the inner workings of this enzyme’s mechanism.
