  1. Great job Michael, This topic was something I personally had to go through when choosing my topic. Reflecting on what I wanted to learn about cryptocurrency beyond just what they are led me to narrowing in on the environmental impacts of Cryptocurrency. Its nice to see the text had similar steps to help narrow a topic down.

  2. Thank your for your presentation!
The most interesting section of this for me was ensuring that your research is flexible. For some reason, it made more sense it my head to have a very specific research question that only focused in the direction you were wanting to take your research, but after reading the text and watching your presentation, I understand the importance of a more flexible approach, especially when reviewing literature.

  3. I think your presentation topic is one that often gets overlooked and can often be challenging. When thinking about a research topic it is easy to choose a really broad research question to make it easier to find sources for your research. Broad topics can often lead to broad research that can stray away from the central point of your research. Your presentation does a good job at giving a few strategies that can be used to help refine your topic to something that allows you to still gather research, while honing in on a specific topic rather than just an idea. What seems like an easy task can often be overlooked or difficult and you did a good job at showing why it’s important and how you should go about doing it!
