Hello everyone!
Below is my presentation over questions 40 and 41 from the Duesbery & Twyman text.
It covers non-equivalent control group design, qualitative vs quantitative research, and mixed-method research designs: quantitative first approach, qualitative first approach, and same-time approach.
Hope it helps!
Hi Fin,
it’s only me or something wrong with my browser but I couldn’t able to play your presentation video.
Sorry about that, I was out of town for the weekend. I removed the embed and replaced it, hopefully it works for you now. Let me know if it doesn’t, and I can try something else! 🙂
The video is working for me now, great job Fin. I found it interesting that the text said qualitative research was time consuming where as quantitative was more efficient. When thinking about this from an outside perspective I would have thought that quantitative would be more time consuming, given the method of gathering the data could be much more complex.
Hi Fin! You made a very helpful presentation. I especially had questions on mixed-methods action research designs and you helped me better understand the different approaches.
