Adopting Online Education

Online Education has been there since 1999 but it was not that popular and employers did not take online degrees very seriously. I learned about online classes about six years ago when I took an online course for Cisco certification. It was not difficult at all for me to adjust  to online studies. In 2019, I started Community College and that was when we were hit with COVID pandemic.  I took more than half of my classes online. I think I am at the confirmation stage and I will continue to use this innovation in future as well.

I would consider myself as early adopter because it was not difficult to adopt to an online platform and I really enjoy learning online. Voice search is one technology where I considered myself laggard, it might be due to my accent as most voice searches do not pick up my accent. I am still reluctant to use such technology.

  1. I think as technology progresses and particularly with the pandemic the past few years, online education will be forced to accepted.

  2. I understand and identify with you when it comes to voice search. My first language is Spanish, and due to my Latin accent, the voice search often does not recognize what I am trying to ask.
Voice search technology is something that I have not been able to adopt either. I hope my accent improves in the future so that I can benefit from this technology.
