Hello class, my name is Suraj Aryal and I am senior with majoring in Information Networking and Telecommunications. Basically, I love to play with networking things like switches and routers.
Well, most of the people love to play/use the new technologies. Likewise, I also do love to fly drone in my leisure time. I have chosen to research on Drone technology because I found the drone technology is interesting which has been using different sectors like filming, agriculture, delivery and in military.
I would be focusing on following aspects:
- How is drone technology innovated?
- Different sectors where drone is using and can be used.
- Impacts of this technology in our society or world.
- The future of drone technology.
I agree, I find it interesting how drones are and will be used in the military. How could drones aid soldiers? In my community, I know that a lot of farmers are using drones to check crops in large fields and pastures. I had an aerospace engineering class in high school where I got to fly drones and became very curious about their potential as well.
I always find it interesting when drones are used in areas where you’d least expect them to be. Like I think filming and the military are kinda given applications due to the level of surveillance and recording drones provide. However, agriculture and other not-so-directly related fields are able to harness the data the drone can collect to do extremely cool things.
Question #3, or any other question related to how a technology impacts our society, would be ideally suited to our research project assignment at the end of the semester. The other three questions could be harder to answer with an original study in the social sciences.
