- Usefulness: I really liked the articles I got with this search. I’m looking for how programmers are influenced by usability, and HCI principles, when it concerns accessibility.

This article discusses how A.I and computers in general should enhance and empower humans, instead of replacing them. I find this an interesting and potentially helpful article in learning how to word in which ways HCI helps humans.

- Usefulness: There were a number of results, but not all were useful to me. I was able to find a few here and there that focused on the impact of human computer interaction in areas like the workplace, and non-traditional user authentication.

This article details how applications can be used to collect user experience data. This is important to me, because it can be used to study HCI and usability. The results could provide important details, such as feedback and results, on just how to set up an application to help with user experience design.

- Usefulness: I found a lot of results, and some of them seemed useful to my research topic. Particularly a study using online methods to collect data in offline restricted spaces. This was aimed at bringing equality among people who are in sexual and gender minorities. I thought this was an interesting way to use technology to bring about change.

This article is a study on the use of technology to help people in marginalized groups in hard-to-reach areas, due to stigmas and other such things that prevents a way to reach them. I find this interesting in the field of human computer interaction, because it’s using technology in a way to help those in areas that are harder to reach.
You’ve definitely got a great head on your shoulders with regard to research. If I were given the task of studying applications for technology, I’d be totally lost in the forest of terminology. It really puts my lively position into perspective. I blatantly take advantage of hardware and software on an hourly basis; I’ll gladly admit that I couldn’t take much time without it. Doing all of this research must be a humbling experience. It’s certainly humbling for me!
