I have to say you did a great job with explaining informed consent. I don’t think there is anything for me to add to it. as for treating children differently in research you nailed it. It can be very hard to confirm whether a child understands what the research is about. sometimes it is necessary to rephrase the question multiple times to confirm whether they understand or not. As for the sample consent letter you did a good job explaining of how it would look. I never seen one before but now I can imagine what it would look like. overall you gave a great presentation and did a great job explaining the topics.

I though you clearly stated answers to each of the questions provided. Informed consent is very important, and like you said needs to be clear and easy to understand what is going to happen. Also I agree that children should be treated different than adults. They are still young and have not experienced as much as adults have, so they do not have the knowledge adults have.
