  1. You did a good job on your presentation, giving a clear overview of what the book covered in questions 3 and 4. I am finding that action research planning feels a lot more intuitive as it seems to align with how I have addressed issues in my workplace in the past. Your presentation seems to highlight why that might be the case particularly in the slide covering action vs. traditional research. Action research seems to looking to address the problem that is in front of me right now by working with the people I am already working with whereas traditional research seems to start by looking more at the big picture and go from there. My section, which talked about the cyclical nature of action research, then goes on to show how the problem I am having now may turn out to be the start of a string of problems or questions that need to be addressed, and so you can see how a simple action research plan can turn into something more formal and traditional after a few action research cycles. It is quite interesting!

  2. I think you did a great job of breaking down the information and applying examples to the questions. When I was looking for an item to research on I was focusing on topics I am dealing with at work, so your question 4 explanation emphasized what I am doing now. I put myself into the research, I don’t have a hypothesis, but I do want to understand something that directly involves myself.

  3. I added the presentation tag for you when I came across the post through happenstance. Without that, I may miss this post when I move from grading Presentation 2 Replies to the Presentation itself. If you don’t have that tag on a different presentation, be sure to add it ASAP.
