The Study of Cause and Effect: Quasi-Experimental Designs

This is my presentation on quasi-experimental design. I include a brief overview of what the term means in the scope of experiments, using a couple of definitions. I also go over two types of designs that fall under this category, and explain when and why you should use this type of study (ethics, financial, and time). I tried to mention my sources, but feel I may have butchered some of the pronunciation, my apologies if I have.

Below is both a recorded video of me going over it, as well as the slideshow for your own use:

  1. Hey Evan!
I think you did a good job delivering the content for your presentation, providing an example on screen helped me follow along to the different definitions you were explaining.

  2. Hello Evan,

How are you doing? I really liked your post. Your information was detailed and understandable. Definitely helped me understand it better. Great work!

  3. Great job Evan! I really appreciate you explaining quasi experimental designs. I was completely unaware of what they were before watching your video. The name definitely makes it sound more confusing that it actually is! Thank you for taking the time to explain it in depth!
