Hello class my name is Joshua Okechukwu, i am a student athlete from Washington DC attending Fort Hays State University. I am currently a senior and major in Informatics with a concentration of Cyber security. I know you guys heard me say Washington DC and said “what made you come all the way to Hays Kansas” and sports is the reason. But i am excited about 2022 almost that time to graduate and accomplish all the goal i set for myself.
Some interesting thing to know about me is that i have a faternal twin sister that attends Howard University and studies civil engineering, my favorite food is alfredo pasta and i love to cook.

What a difference between where you grew up and here! I hope you have enjoyed your time in Hays. I have lived in the area most of my life except for about 5 years I was in the Orlando area so I can only imagine how much you can miss the city environment and things to do.
Does your twin also play sports? Good luck with the 2022 season!

What sports do you play for FHSU? I played tennis and wrestled in High School. It was a lot of fun. I enjoy heating a few things like easy mac, hashbrowns, shrimp, and hot dogs, but cooking is not something I have tried to take on with all the homework. I am also going for a degree in Cyber Security. If you have any helpful tips on jobs or where the good cyber security jobs are, I’m all ears.
The only way to reach your goals is to set some.

First off welcome to the Midwest, i imagine its quite different here than is back home. Interesting you are a twin, as I am a father of 7 year old boy girl twins. So funny there are ways they are so different but then at the same time they act the same. I depend on each other for everything. Great choice with Alfredo Pasta, that is the best!!!!

Its cool that you are from Washington DC, I have always wanted to visit there. I am from Topeka, KS, which is around 3 hours east of Hays. In my opinion, Kansas is a good place to be, if you accept the fact that its kind of boring… My favorite food is chicken alfredo as well! However, my favorite thing to cook is grilled chicken.
