Hello! My name is Shayna Ede, and this is my third year at FHSU. I am a Digital Media/Journalism major. I really love taking pictures, and my “someday” goal is to work National Geographic (like I said, someday) and be a photojournalist. I am not 100% sure what I specifically want to research, but I want to dive deeper into the realm of how different types of stories affect a person’s day, and how different types of stories affect their outlook of the media. A work in progress, as I said!
I’ve always had a love for photography. The way shots can almost systematically be tweaked for such a paradoxically subjective appeal has always been interesting to me. I can also appreciate the emphasis on hiking. I really love encapsulating natural beauty through photos alone. The intricacies of words almost can’t do justice to the subtlety of a natural world controlled only by entropy.
