Final Weeks of Class: Proposal, Exam, & Surveys

Learning Activities:

  • Review APAstyle.org
  • Look back at your library searches, anything else you should try?
  • Review examples and materials for the Proposal, both in the blog and in Bb.

Assignments DUE Friday, May 6 at 2 pm Central:

  • Research Proposal (post online in the Proposal category and upload the paper to Bb for a SafeAssign report).
    • If you need extra time to check for plagiarism, note that in your submission and resubmit any corrected plagiarism ASAP.

    • University Class Evaluation

If you have any questions about your grade as I put everything together, just let me know. As you consider how your grade was determined, here is the grade distribution from your syllabus:

  • Quizzes: 45%
  • Mid-Term & Final (comprehensive exams): 20%
  • Written Research Proposal: 8%
  • Other Assignments: 20%
  • Discussions/Presentations: 7%

  1. Abstracts are not required in the paper, but some sort of proposal summary would work well for your post. Then, attach the document or include a link to the document in your post. You should NOT copy and paste your paper into a blog post. That wouldn’t use this medium very well.
