My knowledge paper was over institutional racism in the United States. I went into detail about the history of institutional racism history, police brutality, mass incarceration, and the lack of employment and opportunities for African Americans. I chose this topic because it is relevant in light of recent events and I wanted to learn as much as I could about it. Being educated about these issues is so important to eliminate ignorance around this subject.
