So, I’m a local guy from around the Hays area, grew up around here my whole life, graduated from Victoria High (KS) in 2012, wandered around aimlessly for a handful of years, grew up (a little), and here we are. Occupation wise, I’m currently employed full time under my family’s soil conservation business building terraces, waterways, and whatever other projects come our way. I also work part time for my local Township as a motor grader operator. – “It ain’t much, but it’s honest work”

To be honest, music is a little more than just a “hobby” for me. It is what pushed me to enroll at FHSU. It is what I am most passionate about, it is something that I have put a significant amount of time, money, and effort into. Most importantly, it has blessed me with some incredible moments that I will never forget! So, here I am pursuing a major in ‘Information Networking & Media Production’ with the hopes of finding a way to further utilize my talents. Things have been great, and I am happy to find myself learning some new skill sets that will help broaden my options with finding a career later on.
News wise, I just try to take everything with a grain of salt. There is a lot of information floating around nowadays. I want my information to be as accurate as possible, so I make sure to try and cross examine different sources. Currently, I find myself very drawn into the events unfolding with Tik-Tok vs. The United States Government over the Presidents recent executive order to ban the app. I never really used the app myself, but I’m always interested in events such as these since the internet is still a developing place. Censorship is another hot topic across social media, so I’m curious to see if and how these events may affect future legislation over the internet!
