FT 13: Marc Najjar

I have tried to voice my feedback as honestly as possible

Some of it is harsh but i hope it can be used to correct this course in the future

I think i did not learn much but i appreciate the fact that i can criticize and express my opinions freely without fear of reprisal ( at least i hope so 🙂

  1. Marc, I’m glad you feel like this is a safe space to share your feedback. I, too, am glad that our professor is open and likes to read opinions. We are lucky that he is objective and doesn’t base our grades off of any feelings he may have. Many students are not this lucky. However, I feel like you made some good points.

  2. Thanks! well usually if I am bothered about a course, I usually send the professor an email in private to let him know what I feel not wary about the consequences, at this point in my life a bad grade does not really scare me but what I am after is deriving real value from what I am being taught.

  3. Marc, there are many of your opinions that I agree with.
I agree that we have not learned near as much about healthcare administration as I would have liked. I feel that this course has been more about leadership skills more so than anything. (which is misleading as it is called “Healthcare Administration”) I have admired your honesty and bravery throughout this course. One thing that really stood out to me was your comment about not having enough patience to listen to anyone for more than 3 minutes…

Don’t get me wrong… Healthcare administrators need to be educated on policies, compliancy, billing, etc. but administrators have to be able to lead a team in order to succeed. The employees are the foundation, and if their manager doesn’t have enough patience to listen to them and have an open mind…that organization is going to fail.
    Just my honest opinion.

    1. Thanks for your nice comment and sorry but i did not really elaborate on the 3 minutes thing, i meant listening to a video about instruction with the fact that some things are being repeated, i actually take my time listening to people all the time, i’m a physician so i have to.

  4. Marc,
I always try to be open as to where the class is headed, but with only two assignments left, I also do not feel as though we have put as much into learning about Administration in Healthcare and more towards just learning what swarm learning is.

    1. Exactly my point!!! good to see that someone shares my opinion, anyway too late now
