SC alternate Debate: Marc Najjar

Debated the Affordable care act on this debate platform

As a non-US citizen , learned more about the ACA and its negative and positive implications

Still felt negative about the ACA several years after its implementation.

  1. It is interesting to see the viewpoint of the ACA from a non-US citizen. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint with me. I have never left the country and do not know anyone personally who lives outside of my country of origin. It is amazing to think what a big world is really out there, even though it feels like everything happening here in the US is enough to keep the whole world busy! Our country can be such a mess.

    1. Well i live in the US for about 2 years, i was doing my clinical fellowship in Portland Oregon when the ACA rolled out, i remember the website fiasco too well, a lot of patients were harmed and that is probably why i am biased against it. I have lived in several areas around the world and i can tell you that having health insurance coverage is one of the essential components when trying to look for a job so this topic is really important to debate.
