Marc Najjar: KT5

What: Assigned roles in a fictional Healthcare system to individuals in my class as well as established an organizational structure for the Healthcare system in question.

So What: Understood the importance of the function of every role in the Lakeview Healthcare system and how it is all interconnected but still can’t believe that a 5 minute personality test will be used as my only guide to assign roles for it.

Now What: I will for sure expect challenges to start testing the structure i created, it will be shaken to the core but will still remain resilient and stand the test of time since it is a good structure.

We used this in another class (I think it was marketing but I don’t fully remember). I think this would be a good way to perform the simulation we just completed for this assignment. It seemed to be well structured and for a hospital organization with teams we have would be awesome. I don’t know if anything like this is available.

    1. we used it in business information systems with the simulation for the bottled water company, it was a chaotic course, hope this one is better

  2. Hi Marc,
I liked the approach you took to your structure and your map, it was easy to follow. I didn’t think about actually incorporating the class into this assignment. I think that was innovative and kind of fun to see each of us listed out that way.

Yes, I thought why not, I mean he didn’t really specify what to do and I thought the idea behind this course is to be a little bit creative so I went for it. Hope nobody’s upset about which role I assigned them to.

  3. Very in depth post. Much creativity. I liked that you incorporated fellow class members on the assignment. I love reading your plectica, they are always so well thought out and invigorating.
