Simple Rules to follow: 

Rule #1: Guiding Question

• This assignment has two requirements (you must complete the End of Course Evaluation then a Feedback Plectica Map).
• Step #1: Complete the End of Course Evaluation, for which you should have received an e-mail. If not, follow the instructions below.
• Step #2: Answer the questions below, then create a Feedback Map in Plectica (feel free to add to the questions… you do not need to use the same questions as the End of Course Evaluation since that is an anonymous evaluation).
  • *In your post, please acknowledge that you did complete the End of Course Evaluation by stating, “I completed the End of Course Evaluation.”

Rule #2: Given Information/Data

• Step #1: Complete the End of Course Evaluation. You have until midnight on July 26, 2019.  You can access the evaluations either by clicking the link included in the e-mail announcement or following the steps below:
  • 1) Please log in here https://tk20.fhsu.edu/ using your ID and password as used to log into email.
  • 2) Under “Pending Tasks,” click “2019 Summer Course Evaluation.”
  • 3) Fill out the forms with your candid and honest responses.
• Step #2: Create a Plectica Map answering the following questions:
  • Swarm Learning Methodology:
    • What did you think of this teaching methodology/style?
    • Did you learn from it? Please explain.
    • Did it teach you how to think? Please explain.
  • Technology:
    • What did you think of Plectica?
    • Will you continue to use Plectica?
    • What did you think of Tableau?
    • Will you continue to use Tableau?
    • What did you think of Rationaleonline.com? And will you continue to use it?
    • Do you think I should have done more videos? Please explain.
    • What did you think of Connect?
    • Did it further your understanding of each concept? Please explain.
  • Textbook:
    • Was the textbook beneficial? Please explain.
    • Is the textbook necessary for the course? Please explain.
    • Is the textbook relevant for the course? Please explain.
  • Collaboration:
    • Did you participate in the Facebook Group? Please explain.
    • How can I increase participation and collaboration in this course?
  • Knowledge and Feedback:
    • How can I structure the course so it’s more beneficial to your understanding of each concept?
    • How can I take better advantage of your feedback?
    • Do you think providing these feedback maps are a good idea? Please explain.
    • Did you learn from writing an essay? Please explain.
    • How can I make the essay more rewarding?
    • How can I encourage more students to write a blog?
    • Did this course prepare you for employment in the HHP profession? Or any profession? Please explain.
    • What was your favorite part of the course?
    • What was your least favorite?

Rule #3: Create a Plectica Map

• Open Plectica.
• Use Thinkquiry and the Pyramid Principle to help you structure your ideas.

Rule #4: Create a Blog Post in this Learning Community

• Click +New at the top of the screen.
• Label the post (Lastname_Week16_EoC_Eval) or something to that extent.
• Include a link to your Plectica Map and/or an image.
• Don’t forget:
  • *In your post, please acknowledge that you did complete the End of Course Evaluation by stating, “I completed the End of Course Evaluation.”
• Reply to at least 2 other student blog post in this Learning Community.
