Interesting study. What motivated you to research this topic?
In your results it said that “compression strength values decreased with the addition of expandable graphite within an acceptable margin.” Does this limit the applications of the foam in any way? Will some companies need choose to use the original design for greater strength and sacrifice the greater flame retardance?
