I have been a registered nurse since 1992 when I graduated from Kansas Newman College. My early career started at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Since then, I have worked in several areas including orthopedics, as a research coordinator, and in diabetes. I became a nurse practitioner in 2011 and have been focusing my specialty area in student health at a mid-size college health center. My focus areas include contraceptive management, women’s, health, and acne treatment. I received my NP from Frontier Nursing University in 2011 and my DNP from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
