  1. What was the one thing you enjoyed most about this class?
    • Interaction with students and flexibility during this semester.
  2. What was the one thing you least enjoyed about this class?
    • I’m not much of a essay writer or blogger so I could do without that.
  3. If you completed your essay or blog, then what are your thoughts? Did you enjoy writing it? Please explain?
    • I have not written my blog writing was never my strong suite.
  4. Did you enjoy your topic? Did it help transfer knowledge from the topic itself to the concepts you were learning in class?
    • Enjoyed reading about it now just to put it down on paper.
  5. What was your favorite program to use in this course?
    • I did enjoy thortspace, I enjoyed most of the programs presented in this course
  6. What was your least favorite program?
    • Pletica, it is much easier to use and I see it benefits but it not for me.
  7. Which student blog or essay did you enjoy reading the most?
    • Platt blog ”Aerobic Training vs Anaerobic Output”
  8. Was it a huge relief not having to take tests or would you have preferred taking tests?
    • Huge relief we covered a lot of information and programs but not sure blog or essay is much better. (I guess I will never be happy lol)
  9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how confusing was this class?
    • 7
  10. If you had to do it all over again, would you still have taken this course?
    • Yes, I did enjoy this course, wish it had not been during a pandemic
  11. What is one thing you definitely learned while taking this class?
    • Don’t let unfamiliarity make you overwhelmed it is never as bad as it seems.
  12. What is one thing you plan to immediately forget once this class is over?
    • Covid-19 hope it is over by May 15th I know wishful thinking.
  13. Do you agree with Dr. Schwandt’s Swarm Learning methodology? Please explain.
    • Yes, I do agree but it is not for everyone, I was really stretched in this class and I feel that is good.
  14. In your own words, what is Swarm Learning?
    • Jump in and keep your head above water and you will do fine.
  15. If you were a teacher, would you use Swarm Learning in your class?
    • I probably would not; it seems like a lot of work on the teacher part.
  16. Would you take another class with Dr. Schwandt as the professor?
    • Yes, if there was a guarantee of no life changing world event during the class.
  17. How can the Facebook Group be improved?
    • I can’t think of anything, enjoyed what has been posted
  18. Are you more comfortable with ambiguity than when the class first started?
    • Yes, it took some time and sometimes more than I liked but it was good.
  19. If you had to retake the NFCC survey, how would you score?
    • I think it might be the same, but not for sure I have learned a lot through this semester both inside and outside the class.
  20. Last semester was the first class to receive How-To video’s… how would you have reacted without them for this class?
    • The videos were very helpful and unproved throughout the semester.
  21. Did it help not having to complete the last few assignments so that you could focus on your essay or blog? Please explain.
    • Yes, as you can see im still not done with my blog so it is a big help
  22. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how would you rate this class?
    • 7
  23. In your opinion, should other professors try to use and mimic Swarm Learning?
    • If they do I don’t think I could take two courses like this at the same time.
  24. What changes did you see during the progression of this class?
    • How to video improved,
  25. What is one change you would immediately implement in this class?
    • Not so many different websites/fb to go to post assignments.
  26. Would you recommend this class to another student? Please explain.
    • Yes, It was an informative course and instructor was defiantly involved in the class thoughts and opinions
  27. What would you tell someone interested in taking a class with Dr. Schwandt using Swarm Learning?
    • Don’t judge a course by its syllabus.
  28. Was this class as difficult as you initially thought?
    • No, still challenging but not as difficult
  29. What are your final thoughts about this class?
    • Thanks for a great Semester.

  1. Your last map looks great! I enjoyed your comment about not judging a class by the syllabus. I felt like that was extremely accurate for this course!
