Size:     They normally grow 36 – 48 inches.

Diet:     Rodents, small birds, bird eggs, lizards, reptile eggs and snakes are eaten by Common Kingsnakes.

Range:   Common Kingsnakes live in the yellow colored counties on this Kansas map.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Did you know? 

Kingsnakes are not killed by the bite of a rattlesnake?  Instead, the kingsnake will kill and eat the rattlesnake, even if the rattlesnake is bigger than the kingsnake!
