Gopher Snake (Bullsnake)

Size:    Bullsnakes normally grow to about 37 – 72 inches.

Diet:    They eat mammals like rabbits, mice, rats, pocket gophers, ground squirrels and occasionally birds and bird eggs.

Range: Bullsnakes can be found in almost all of Kansas.

Did you know? 

Bullsnakes are the most economically beneficial snake in Kansas.  It eats large quantities of rodents, saving farmers from big losses of grain.
