The Discovery Room Main page needs to be colored, fonted and designed using the statements and headings I’ve given you in the folder titled “Discovery Room main page”. I know this is for kids but please don’t make it “cutesie”… you know, red chubby-cheeked animated boys and girls bouncing up and down with overly happy faces. No animals in clothes or anything like that either, please.
On the main page, I’ve given you our hours, a short information paragraph and a statement we want on that page and 7 topics for the viewer to click on for more pages.
- When you click on “Hands in Action” I want the 7 pictures with titles to come up. (Size, adjust, crop or what ever you think they need. That’s all to that page)
- When you click on “Views Around the Room” I want the eleven pictures with titles to come up. (Do whatever is needed to make them work.)
- When you click on “Seasonal Exhibits” I want the 5 pictures with titles to come up. (Please adjust as needed.) We will probably need to add more pages to this.
- When you click on “Live Exhibits” I want the 8 pictures with titles to come up – these are the pictures and titles that are inside each individual folder that’s in the “live exhibit” folder. Further instructions are included in this folder.
We plan on adding animals to this page as things come in.
- .When you click on “What’s New” one picture will come up and when you click on that picture information on that subject would come up. (nothing done on that as of now)
- We want to also have a “Check This Out”. That will be along the lines of slide shows/videos (tadpole development, that sort of thing)
- I want to have a page for an activity for the kids to go to and it would probably be changed every 3 / 4 months. I will need to talk to you and see what is involved when making interactivities. (title perhaps “Discovery Time)
