Financial Aid for Sternberg Museum Summer Science Camps

Financial assistance is available to help students attend the Sternberg Museum Science Camps programs. This financial aid is currently available for all programs taking place within the USA for elementary, middle, and high school students. While we do offer financial aid for our international programs, we cannot at this time provide any full ride scholarships. We are working diligently to increase our annual financial aid budget, which will hopefully allow us to eventually provide ample financial assistance to international trip students.

  1. You can register using the online system. This includes a financial aid application portion.
    • To do this, you will need to set up an account with CampDocs. Once this is done, you’ll be able to log back in as you complete the application process. 
  2. Include the two page (5-7 paragraph) letter of interest from the student applicant. This letter should be uploaded to your online application on CampDoc.

  3. Mail in a one page letter of recommendation from a non-family member. Contact us if you have questions about getting a recommendation letter.

Admission & Aid Notification Schedule 

We run on a rolling admission schedule from February to May. Each month, we will evaluate students with complete application files to determine admission and scholarship award decisions. If your student is denied admission to a camp, you will be specifically notified. Below we have listed evaluation period cutoff dates, and notification periods.
