I am an RN Case Manager and hold a certification in Case Management (CCM). This certification has value because it means that I am very dedicated and knowledgeable about my profession. It represents credentialing from a large nationally accredited organization that is dedicated to acknowledging those who are able to meet the various demands of the case management field. It also acknowledges that I am part of a field that as a whole is worthy of credentialing. A “board-certified case manager is a professional distinction” and is becoming more and more in demand. Employers are even willing to pay more to those who hold it.
