Blood & Marrow Transplant Certification. I am working as a RN in Japan and US and worked many different area, IN Japan OB & GY 2 years, pulmonary and dialysis unit that included ICU worked with ventilator in 6 years, Cardiac unit included ICU and rotated long term care unit in 2 years, OB clinic included new born care and delivery 1 years, US, long term care facility and half way house 10 years and last 12 years I am working with Bone Marrow Transplant unit. Wide range of nursing care I did last about 32 years, however Bone Marrow Transplant nursing is different from other nursing care, every day new treatment or research project are introduced to nurses and patients are coming all over US and some of them are from over sea like mid east, I am very happy to work with them and keep my skills up, so for me certified for Blood & Marrow Transplant nurses are very important to keep working Bone Marrow Transplant patients.
I have 32 years of nursing carriers however I do not have certification or BSN ( almost there ) in nursing future without certification or degree I believer nurses will not have social status in society, for our nursing future we need high degree of certification
