In 2003, I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems with a minor in Spanish from the University of Memphis. I started working in a computer repair shop with goals of becoming a network administrator. At this time, I vowed never to return to school.
In 2006, I returned to school because my personality did not fit working with computers all day. At first, I chose a masters in hospital administration but was unsure so I went and interviewed 2 hospital administrators. Both were nurses and told me a clinical background would make me a better hospital administrator. With that, I began and completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Union University.
In 2014, I returned to school at Delta State University for my Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner after encouragement from 2 predominant psychiatrists with whom I worked for under their mentorship for many years.
