I first learned about this innovation by reading an article that discussed how businesses have used innovative methods to continue business operations while working from home because of the spread of COVID-19. I do not currently work a full-time job since I am a student but even as a student I have had to attend classes that were meant to be on campus, virtually. I am at the implementation stage of adoption. I do not see myself reaching the confirmation stage because I only attend class (a few classes) virtually because of the COVID-19 situation. The ending of the pandemic would lead to me discontinuing the use of some online technologies for virtual learning.
I am a late majority adopter because my university classes did not move to an online format as quickly as other businesses or universities did. Augmented reality is one technology that I strongly believe I am an early majority adopter of because I used the technology for simulation in an application that recently integrated AR into their system before many other technologies were using it. Voice search is another relatively recent innovation that is now widely used by many applications. I would qualify as a “laggard” since I was reluctant to use it because I did not see it to be useful although my opinion would change.

The virtual technological business makes experiments no longer dangerous. The result of the experiment is to allow people to explore the path of science one step further. But some failed experiments not only waste resources, but also pollutes the environment. The development of virtual technology can input experimental data and conduct experiments through AR simulation.
