Has COVID-19 accelerated technology?

Hypothesis: Has COVID-19 accelerated technology?

Introduction: Last year kicked off with the development of several digital technologies, which can be used to address major clinical problems. These digital technologies include the internet of things (IoT) with next-generation telecommunication networks (5G)、big-data analytics、 artificial intelligence (AI) that uses deep learning and blockchain technology. Some of these include the Internet of Things, big-data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

  • The Iot provides a platform that allows public health agencies to access data to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Big data also provides an opportunity to model research on virus activity and guide healthcare policymakers in countries to improve preparedness for outbreaks.
  • Digital technology can enhance public health education and communication.
  • Ai and deep learning can enhance the detection and diagnosis of COVID-19.

Methodology: Sixty-five students who got a B in the final exam and five students who got an A and five students who got C were randomly selected to study together in the summer. Divided into three groups,

  • 20 B students and 5 A students as the first group.
  • 25 B students were in the second group.
  • The third group consists of 20 B students and 5 C students.

After two months, students in the first group were observed to see whether their scores improved and those in the third group declined.

Research advantage: the experiment is small and can be controlled easily.

Weakness of study:  Different environments can affect efficiency. Not all A students do well all the time. Luck is also a means of change.
