This research proposal dives into the world of video game marketing. This paper discusses previous marketing campaigns for older video games consoles such as the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 to find out how these consoles were marketed and how that marketing worked for them in the long run. After this review of older generations, the research proposal focuses on trying to find what may be the next best way to market future gaming consoles as the competition in the gaming industry has increased in the past couple of years.
