My simple hypothesis for my research proposal is as follows:

If someone relies on smartphones and search engines for information, they are less likely to remember that information than someone who gets the information from other media.

Flowchart for study:

Introduction: A brief history of the internet and smartphones. Also my hypothesis will be included in the introduction.

Literature review: Reviewing multiple studies and papers about smartphone usage, search engine usage, and how these technologies are effecting our ability to retain and regurgitate information.

Methodology: Stating what the information I’ll be collecting, how I will collect it, and the method analysis.

Discussion: This will be where I will reiterate the study. Why I think it is important, if there could be any follow up studies, and a summary of the study.
