    • These results were very helpful. Many articles tied into my research quite well. I can use these articles to compliment my research topic.

I believe that I have searched all that I can relating to my research topic. The majority of these searches that I am conducting are basically the same article over and over again: showing a potential increase in a student’s ability to learn using AR software, just in different subjects, specialty areas, and emphases. In terms of how these studies are conducted, they also share the same similarities. Two groups of students are both given the same pretest, one group is either given nothing to help them learn or they are given just the normal way of educating, and the other group is given an augmented reality software tool to help them learn the material. Both groups are then given the same final test. The group that is given the AR tool almost always shows a higher score, therefore indicating that augmented reality can be beneficial in a child’s ability to learn.

This study focuses on the general review of using augmented reality technology in the classroom, specifically in the subject of anatomy. Although it doesn’t provide an actual study with methodology and results, it still gives an overview on the potential of using augmented reality software in the classroom. Using this technology in an anatomy-subject sense can allow students to understand the anatomy in two and three-dimensional forms without actually having to be in a lab setting. This article can help my research by just providing a general overview of AR technology and its potential.

This article looks at the specific learning augmented reality software GoGoBox and its potential ability to enhance children’s cognitive skills. The article eventually states that it can indeed prove to be beneficial to a child’s cognitive learning ability. Articles like this only help me more with my research topic. While many of the articles seem to be the same thing, they only help me “prove” my initial research claim.

Özdemir, C. E., & Akyol, Hayati. (2021) Effect of Augmented Reality-Based Reading Activities on Some Reading Variables and Participation in Class. International Journal of Progressive Education,  17(4), p135-154. DOI: https://doi.org/10.29329/ijpe.2021.366.9

This article is similar to other articles here in that it provides a study on how augmented reality technology can help students’ learning in the classroom. The students in this study stated that the AR technology was easy to navigate, and that it had a positive effect on their thinking skills, academic development, and communication skills. This article can help me in my research because it provides another positive outcome for using augmented technology in the classroom.

This article investigates how augmented reality technology plays a role on students’ learning potential. Specifically, this article focuses on the classroom subject of biology. The study eventually shows that the AR technology could possibly benefit a student’s learning ability. It is a useful source as it demonstrates a positive result of the hypothesis, and it ties into my own research as well.

This article is another study where it eventually shows evidence that using augmented reality technology can increase student’s ability to learn. In this study, they investigate the subject of space and its planets. The results show that students had a higher learning satisfaction and behavioral willingness in AR-based learning activities. This article can help me with my research claim.
