This source asks questions from an HR perspective. They were seeking to find out how working from home during covid restrictions affected an employee’s career development. They found that using tools like remote mentoring became important to maintaining an employee’s growth.

This again is a source that seeks to get a better understanding of remote workers from an HR or managerial point of view. This study focused on remotely working nurses. The study is even more interesting since it started before the covid pandemic and concluded afterward. They seem to find positive results when using medical standards for management. However, some of this study was hard to follow due to using many unexplained acronyms.

This source attempted to balance the pros and cons of remote work from the employer’s perspective. They used case study analysis, comparative analysis, economic analysis, and the scenario method.  It revealed that there are many opportunities for cost savings, but that comes at the cost of more difficult human resource management.

This study conducted a study to find the tools that were most important to remote employees. They conducted a survey to find the challenges and successes of remote employees. This is very likely the best study I’ve found so far, in relation to my plans.
