Limiter: Publication type

Filters: date -2021, Publication type: review, journal: ArXiv

This search returned 24 results. One of which was of use is an article about how technology makes smart phones more addictive. This can be of use by determining why we are getting addicted to this technology and how it is limiting our ability to recall information.

This search with limiters and filters produced 106 results.  An article that stood out here was (The Smartphone and the Driver’s Cognitive Workload: A Comparison of Apple, Google, and Microsoft’s Intelligent Personal Assistants). This can be an important part of this research by defining how much workload is being put on us while using certain features of smart phones. We can see if higher or lower workloads effect the capacity of information our brains are able to accept

Results: 213,000

Limiter: Publication type

Filters: Publication type: review, field of study: psychology, date range 2021

This search yielded the most relevant results. There were many results regarding digital amnesia and the google effect. After all the limiters and filters the search was narrowed down to 193 results.
