Rural fiber-optic infrastructure grew slowly at the start due to obstacles, but is now taking lead in the United States. This source is very useful because it discusses how fiber optic is changing the lives of rural communities. This will be helpful because it explains the hardships that are involved with implementing rural fiber-optic, but also the value of it after it is accomplished.
