I also had to re-read several times before I understood an ANOVA and why a multiple comparison test is needed. I think that on page 240, the review helps. It states that ANOVA takes the difference of a set and sees if significant overall. Yet, to see the contrast against each other then a multiple comparison test is needed. At least, I hope that is what I understand is correct.
For me, ANOVA was a difficult concept to understand in the text. I had to slow down and think about what it was and how it works. Luckily, your presentation helped me to understand the subject matter. Now I can clearly see the differences between one-way and two-way analysis. Great job on the presentation.

It is good to know that it stands out due to the testing of only one independent variable, and you did a great job with your crop reference in showing that there can be different levels of the independent variable. You also did a fantastic job of showing detail in the obtaining of the proof of null hypothesis. Great presentation that will help me a lot.
