My name is Tyler Webb.  I am completing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Networking and Telecommunications. I am in my senior year of the curriculum and I hope to finish off my stay at Fort Hays State University strongly!

The main topic that I would like to personally research this semester is the effect that the physical limitations of wave-based communications have on the telecommunications industry. Wireless technologies have grown to be massively important in our lives and I cant help but wonder how it is the industry is going to grapple with things such as higher bandwidth waves not being able to penetrate objects as well. As we continually seek the faster and faster speeds we crave, how are we going to deal with the restrictions that come with the physics behind the technology.
