The Importance of Explainable Rate-Setting Models

My research proposal looks at the role of artificial intelligence in making premium rates for insurance policies. The importance of explainability in the machine learning models that make rates is currently being questioned. My research proposal would help to provide some insight into how important explainability is.https://docs.google.com/document/d/1X5wmjx7j4EyJe3wN5dAzWzFTBOEAPAe6/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=104016987935629045015&rtpof=true&sd=true
