Methodology
- Quantitative research with a nonexperimental study
- Observe a group of participants as they interact with a chatbot and then a human assistant.
- Participants will be asked about their experiences with the AI chatbot and the human assistant.
- A questionnaire might be used to ask the participants if they thought they were engaging with a chatbot or an actual human.
Discussion
The purpose of the study was to test whether participants can distinguish between their interactions with a chatbot or a human. The data should support the hypothesis that chatbots are indistinguishable from humans.
