Subject Term: “Blockchain in banking and finance”

I decided to continue focusing on searching for “blockchain in banking and finance” because of the hypothesis I wanted to prove regarding eliminating fraud in the banking and finance areas. When utilizing this search term, I was able to find 9 results, but I was able to narrow that search down to the three best results with regards to banking and finance. All three searches are specific to my research proposal and were very helpful, more so than the previous weeks’ searches. I will use one out of the three results found when I finish authoring my research proposal paper.

I found this article on EBSCOhost under the “Applied Science & Technology Abstracts” database. It had 9 references and again it was related to blockchain technology in Finance. Blockchain technology will eventually be used in many areas, but I believe it’s most important use at this time is in banking and finance sectors because of the amount of money that is lost every year due to fraud which has been in the billions of dollars.

Cross Referencing shows that this article has been cited by 4 other articles each related to blockchain technology specifically in similar areas which will enhance my proof that blockchain technology can eliminate fraud in the banking and financial sectors.
