The first time I heard about virtual reality was a few years ago when my cousin purchased a VR headset. However, virtual reality was not popular because the innovation was still in its early stages. Now, virtual reality is becoming the future of gaming and television. For example, the Brooklyn Nets, an NBA team, have created a virtual reality where their fans can watch them play basketball from the first-person point of view. People are buying VR headsets to experience first-person shooting and sports games. I am at the end of the persuasion stage, but I have not started the decision stage. Virtual reality is an innovation to use if people want to interact with the game physically. On social media, I have seen people have a blast with the VR headsets. I can see myself reaching the confirmation stage in the future when Virtual Reality becomes more developed. If software companies develop a mechanic for people to move in virtual reality better to prevent people from running into walls. Then I would elevate from the decision stage to the confirmation stage. Companies will follow the trend of creating a first-person experience for people to witness through a headset in the next few years.

A technology that I have reached the Implementation or Confirmation stage using Youtube TV streaming services instead of cable. For example, I have subscribed to Dish services for years, but Dish started to raise their service rates. After viewing the prices and the packages YouTube TV had to offer, I dropped my subscription to Dish and signed with YouTube TV a couple of weeks ago. I am a laggard in the adoption of streaming services because the early and late majority of people began subscribing to streaming services during the Covid lockdown in 2020. People in Covid lockdown made Disney Plus, Hulu, HBO, and other streaming services popular.
Another innovation that would fall into a different category would be the Covid vaccine. I would consider myself in the early majority category when the government allowed young adults to take the vaccine. I took the vaccine last September, which was early for young adults. I took the vaccine because I did not want to spread the disease to my family members if I got contaminated.
Hello Peyton.
VR headsets are kind of unique in a way. I just picked up the valve index not to long ago. I have been having a blast with. right now though VR feels like it is a novelty item not many people are going to purchase it. however, I believe you are right when newer technology comes out VR will become more popular. I honestly think you will enjoy playing VR games when do decide to pick a headset up.
