Hello class,My name is Gedion you can call me G.Am originally from Ethiopia and moved to the states 7 years ago and reside in Oakland California .I love my stay here so far .Currently am studying in information systems and net working .The reason i choose this specific major is because you can have 2 sights of the todays technology regards of how it works through the network also in system software .
I have some research ideas just to mention one is about Machine Learning,
Machine learning is an Artificial Intelligence innovation where we give honor to our PCs to get to our information and allowed them to utilize similar information to learn for themselves. It is fundamentally getting a PC to play out a particular undertaking without being modified or taught explicitly to do so.In this present reality, we continue learning each day and keep enhancing our dynamic capacities by considering achievement pace of our effective past choice’s. Isn’t this Human Learning? Presently, in the event that we computerize this interaction flawlessly utilizing PCs, what might it be? Indeed, you are correct. It would be Machine Learning.
Hello G.Am!
I am also part of the Research Designer group. I know that Ethiopia has been in a civil war since 2020, I hope you do not have any family impacted by this. I am glad you are enjoying your stay in the states! I have never been to California, quite opposite, I lived in Florida for a bit but I am from Kansas and live in Hays where FHSU is located. I agree with your thoughts on information systems and networking. I have worked in the informatics field for over 15 years. I have had jobs ranging from system management, to cable pulling, to installing, to telehealth. Informatics has such a wide range and possibilities for employment.
Do you plan to move back to Ethiopia or will you stay in the states? I have a friend who did contract work back in 2014 in Djibouti in installing security systems for over a year. He visited Lake Assal while he was there. I remember him saying that lake is one of the worlds most saltiest bodies of water.
