This article goes over how much technology is or isnt addictive to us as human beings. There are disorders from doctors that is pretty much a technology addiction. One specific clinic in Boston, specializes in tech addiction. The author does a good job of saying its not just technology we are addicted to, he uses history to show that we as people have problem with all kinds of addiction from alcohol to technology. The article references a study that say 50% of teens today feel they are addicted to their phone devices.

This article piece goes over if technology addiction is real or not. They do say video game addiction is definetly real, as it was added by the World Health Organization in 2018 as a real disease. However, it discusses that they have not added smartphone addiction as a disease. They also review a 2016 study that say otherwise, that among participants 48% says they were addicted to their smart devices. This article can help me piece whether or not the addiction is real.

This piece is primary about social media and how it has become the primary source for social communication around everyone today. The article states that frequent social media user has been associated with poorer psychological well-being. I feel this article is a good ones for my research so I can get a overall standing on just how social media impacts our lives, since that is a big part of why we are addicted to our phones.
Have I reached Saturation?
I believe my research has gone very well. These exercises have been a great benefit for assisting me to look for great resources for my research. The database that I have found the best luck in finding resources are Communication & Mass Media and Computer Source. There were also a few other such as Social Science and Computer Science Collection that I found some resources. I am at a good spot for resources, although I will continue to look to find a few more to further advance my research.
