I decided to start with computer source as my database. Then I limited the results to full articles and peer reviews. then I searched “network security breach” which only came up with two results. the first article was ‘LION IDS: a meta-heuristics approach to detect DDoS Attacks against Software-Defined Networks’ however the second article caught my eye right away. the article name is Detection of firewall configuration errors with updatable tree.

the article does provide some information that can be useful when the time is needed. the article does 33 references. then I used google scholar to do a trace back on the article where I have found 19 different article referencing back to the article I found. out of all the results only one or two may be beneficial to what I am researching. I did try to trace it back with another database but had a hard time finding any results.
