Cybersecurity Trends and Autonomous Systems

Week 12

Cybersecurity Trends

Subject Searching

The search topic I chose is Cybersecurity Trends. I chose the Computer Source subject and selected the Informatics guide.  I then chose the EBSCOhost databases which returned 11 results.  I selected the Full Text and Peer Reviewed options.  I did change the date range since it was already 2005 to 2022 which narrowed it down to 8 results.

I found the article Security Modeling of Autonomous Systems: A Survey (2019). In trying to narrow my search so as to not do the same subject as other class members. The search is useful and will review the abstracts on a couple of the articles. I will have to do more searches with different databases and subjects to find more information though

Citation Trace

I looked through the references of the article I found above for my citation trace.  Nine sources cited it. It cited 91 sources. I read for opportunities to backward trace a new resource. I found many citations, including one titled “Tesla’s Toy Boat: A Drone before Its Time.” (Turi., 2014). This article talks about how we harness the usefulness of robots and autonomous devices. The citation trace was useful to help me find new ideas for my research.
